Business Description

When people search for your site, they need to understand who you are and what you can do for them right away, so they know they have come to the right place. Your description will become a part of your business plan, web site and promotional material.

Register Your Domain(s)

You need at least one domain name for your web site. Your "primary" domain should syntactically as close to the name of your business as possible to protect your name or brand. If your business also is know under an acronym or nickname, you should register that as well. This will provide the fastest access to your site because as you establish your brand, some people will arbitrarily type your domain into the address bar of their browser, rather than searching for your site. Secondary or "parked" domain names can include search terms or keywords that people use with a search engine, such as Google or Yahoo! to find you. We do provide domain registration and management services through DotMeBaby.

Setup Web Hosting

You need web hosting to have email or a website. Be careful of terms like "Unlimited Band Width". Nothing is unlimited, wrather you get whatever is available. Unless you own your own servers, you  are most likely sharing bandwidth with all other sites on your server. DotMeBaby makes efforts to limit the number of sites on each server to maximize the available bandwidth. DotMeBaby is also paperless, wind driven and does not outsource. Your Web Hosting plan should provide features that you will need to run your business.
